Delayed Start and Closure Procedures

St. John's Children's Center follows Washoe County School District's policy for closure and delayed start due to adverse weather conditions. When the School District closes due to adverse weather, St. John's Children's Center is also closed. When there is a delayed start in the Washoe County School District, St. John's Children’s Center is also on a delayed start, which means we will not be opened at the start of our business hour (7:30 a.m.).

 

Information for St. John's Children's Center will be announced via text through our phone tree and on Chanel 2, Channel 4 and Channel 8. If weather conditions worsen during the day, families will be notified to pick up their children.
